Why, yes, that is a can of soda in our son's hand. That's right, we do the best we can, when we can 😘
I think like a lot of busy, but diligent moms, I always try to make the best choices for my family when it comes to the products we use in our home and on our bodies. So it was frustrating to me when our three boys were having reactions and I had a hard time figuring out why. I felt duped and disapointed when I realized some of the products I was buying for my family were actually causing them to have reactions. Products I picked out because I thought they were good for us!
Thankfully, a good friend I met through church came over and helped me take a closer look at the ingredients in our sunscreen. She gave me a heads-up on the toxins that were listed on the back of our sunscreen label (this didn't match up to what was listed on the front label). This lit a fire under me to go through all the products in our home. I found even more products I had bought that could be causing harm to our family. I decided we needed to make some changes.
Since I was so happy and relieved with these one-stop-shop toxin-free products, I was curious to know more about why my friend decided to partner with this company. I was already looking for flexible work because I knew I didn't want to return to my corporate job.
Turns out this partnership was a good fit for me too. Besides stocking our home with the safest products out there, I could help other mom's skip the struggle we experienced. I also wanted to improve our family's lifestyle on my own schedule. And, I could see this partnership as the catalyst I needed to build a creative, faith-based project I had been dreaming of.
Now here I am five years later and I am grateful I can offer other families a solution to their struggles, the opportunity to craft their lifestyle on their terms, and the tools they need to share their talents to make a positive impact in the world.
